Sie ist wahrscheinlich nicht nur als Schauspielerin in unseren Köpfen, obwohl sie uns eine grandiose Darstellung in Crocodile Dundee geboten hat. Abseits von Crocodile Dundee hat sie uns ihre darstellerischen Fähigkeiten in anderen Filmen gezeigt wie Almost an Angel oder aber auch The Neighbor. Viele Jahre später geriet sie aber in die News hauptsächlich wegen Beziehung mit Paul Hogan.
Sie bekam in ihrem Leben zwar nicht viele Auszeichnungen für ihre Darstellungen, allerdings hat sie sich in das Herz von jedem gebrannt, der sie auf der Leinwand betrachten konnte und ist damit sicherlich eine Inspiration für Frauen weltweit.
