Maggie Johnson and Clint Eastwood – 30 years

Maggie Johnson married Clint Eastwood before he found success in Hollywood, but stayed with him for years after he’d established a career. The couple wed in Hawaii in 1953 but temporarily separated in 1964, reportedly due to Eastwood’s violence and infidelity. They reunited for a period in the late ’60s, during which Maggie gave birth to two of their children, but the couple finally divorced for good in 1984. Decades of unhappy marriage apparently gave Maggie a reason to seek out a very stringent divorce deal – Clint’s access to their children was closely controlled and restricted.
