An der Grenze der Vulgarität
Wenn du diesem T-Shirt auf der Straße begegnest, könntest du dich selbst verschlucken, denn der Spruch grenzt an Vulgarität und es ist wahrscheinlich besser, nicht so genau über den Wortsinn nachzudenken. “Mean people suck, nice people swallow” ist ein ironischer Spruch, der jedoch zum Nachdenken anregen kann, weil es möglicherweise neben dem genauen Wortlaut etwas im übertragenen Sinn vermitteln möchte.
Das Shirt erinnert uns daran, nicht alles, was uns als nett präsentiert wird, einfach zu akzeptieren. Manchmal ist es klüger, kritisch zu hinterfragen, was einem vorgesetzt wird. Höchstwahrscheinlich ist es aber nur ein Ausdruck ihrer eigenen rebellischen Gemütslage.
