Wenn du diesem T-Shirt auf der Straße begegnest, könntest du dich selbst verschlucken, denn der Spruch grenzt an Vulgarität und es ist wahrscheinlich besser, nicht so genau über den Wortsinn nachzudenken. “Mean people suck, nice people swallow” ist ein ironischer Spruch, der jedoch zum Nachdenken anregen kann, weil es möglicherweise neben dem genauen Wortlaut etwas im übertragenen Sinn vermitteln möchte.
