Senta Berger – Es muss nicht immer Kaviar sein, Geboren 1941
Senta Berger wurde in Wien geboren und wuchs auch dort auf. Als Tochter eines Musikers, Komponisten und Dirigenten trat sie schon mit vier Jahren auf, an der Seite ihres Vaters. Mit 9 hatte sie ihre erste Filmrolle. Aber so richtig ins Rollen kam ihre Karriere “erst” mit 16 Jahren, an der Seite von Yul Brynner. Sie hatte erst Theaterengagements, dann war sie so erfolgreich in deutschen Filmen, wie Es muss nicht immer Kaviar sein, dass Hollywood sie rief, wo sie insgesamt 7 Jahre lang blieb. Nach ihrer Rückkehr nach Europa erhielt sie Rollen in italienischen und französischen Produktionen.
Sie spielte auch unter der Regie ihres Ehemannes Michael Verhoeven, den sie 1966 heiratete und mit dem sie zwei Söhne hat, die auch in der Schauspielbranche arbeiten. Auch mit 80 Jahren sieht Senta immer noch umwerfend aus.
