Son’s Creepy Statement About Newborn Sister Leaves Dad Losing His Mind
A Stranger in the Crib
At home, the boy seemed distant, deliberately avoiding the newborn. While the rest of the family fussed over the baby, he stayed locked away in his room or played outside as if determined to keep his distance. “Aren’t you curious about your new sister?” his mother asked, trying to coax him into bonding.
His reply was sharp and unsettling. “That’s not my sister.” The words hit his father like a cold gust of wind. He couldn’t shake the nagging thought that had been creeping in since that moment at the hospital. Why was his typically curious son so sure of something he couldn’t even explain?
