Wij kennen haar vooral als de bloedmooie eerste officier in Star Trek: Enterprise. De Amerikasnse actrice, Jolene Blalock, lijkt een natuurtalent in films en series, maar heeft laten weten dat dit haar niet zonder enige moeite lukt.
Toen ze een jong meisje was was ze erg verlegen en praatte ze niet veel met anderen. Ze bracht haar tijd vooral surfend door in Californië. Vandaag de dag, net over de 40, lijkt ze er vrijwel precies hetzelfde uit te zien als aan het begin van haar carrière.
