Marija Scharapowa – Vom Teenie-Wunder zur Tennisikone
Marija Scharapowa war mehr als nur eine starke Spielerin – sie war eine Erscheinung auf jedem Court. Mit nur 16 Jahren gewann sie einen renommierten Nachwuchstitel und katapultierte sich direkt ins Rampenlicht der Tenniswelt. Danach folgte eine Karriere wie aus dem Bilderbuch: Alle vier Grand-Slam-Titel konnte sie mindestens einmal gewinnen – ein Kunststück, das nur wenigen gelingt. 2012 holte sie bei den Olympischen Spielen in London die Silbermedaille, insgesamt gewann sie 36 Einzeltitel und thronte mehrfach an der Spitze der Weltrangliste.
Auch abseits des Platzes war sie ein Star: Mode, Werbeverträge, elegante Auftritte. 2020 beendete sie ihre Karriere – stilvoll, erfolgreich und mit einem bleibenden Platz in der Sportgeschichte.
