Danica Patrick – Schnell, furchtlos, legendär
Danica Patrick hat den Motorsport revolutioniert – als eine der ersten Frauen, die sich in der Männerdomäne nicht nur behauptete, sondern Geschichte schrieb. Ursprünglich aus Wisconsin, wagte sie schon als Teenager den mutigen Schritt nach Großbritannien, um sich im Formelsport zu beweisen. 2005 kehrte sie zurück in die USA und fuhr in der IndyCar Series – mit durchschlagendem Erfolg. 2008 gelang ihr als erster Frau ein Sieg in einem IndyCar-Rennen, ein historischer Meilenstein.
Später wechselte sie in die NASCAR-Serie, wo sie weitere Akzente setzte. 2018 verabschiedete sie sich vom aktiven Rennsport – als Ikone, Wegbereiterin und Vorbild für eine neue Generation motorsportbegeisterter Frauen. Danica Patrick bleibt eine Legende auf vier Rädern.
