Winifer Fernandez – Schnell, stark, unterschätzt
Winifer Fernandez ist nicht nur schön, sondern vor allem brillant am Ball. Die Libera aus der Dominikanischen Republik gehört zu den besten ihres Fachs – flink, reaktionsschnell und mit exzellentem Spielverständnis. Schon mit 15 wurde ihr Talent bei der U18-NORCECA-Meisterschaft prämiert. Danach ging’s rasant weiter – unter anderem in internationalen Ligen, etwa in Aserbaidschan.
Trotz medialer Aufmerksamkeit für ihr Aussehen ließ sie sich nie ablenken und blieb fokussiert auf das, was wirklich zählt: Leistung. Ihr technisches Können, gepaart mit Leidenschaft, macht sie bis heute zur festen Größe im Volleyball. Winifer beweist: Wer sie unterschätzt, hat den Ball wohl schon verloren, bevor er das Netz überhaupt berührt.
