Brooke Mayo – „The Bully“, die Kämpferin mit Biss
Brooke Mayo entschied sich erst nach der Schulzeit für eine Karriere im Mixed Martial Arts – ungewöhnlich spät für diesen harten Sport. Doch was ihr an Erfahrung fehlte, machte sie mit Ehrgeiz und Power wett. Schon nach kurzer Zeit sammelte sie Siege und wurde für ihren kompromisslosen Stil bekannt. Ihr Spitzname „The Bully“ war schnell geboren – denn im Käfig machte sie keine Gefangenen.
Trotz technischer Fortschritte und starker Kondition blieben Rückschläge nicht aus. Differenzen im Umfeld und durchwachsene Ergebnisse führten schließlich 2017 zum Karriereende. Doch Mayo bleibt eine beeindruckende Figur des Sports: entschlossen, leidenschaftlich und furchtlos – eine Athletin, die ihre Spuren hinterließ, auch wenn ihr Weg steinig war.
