Candace Parker – Legende auf dem Court und darüber hinaus
Candace Parker war nicht einfach nur eine Basketballspielerin – sie war ein Phänomen. Schon in der Schulzeit dominierte sie mit überragenden Leistungen und wurde 2008 als Nummer eins im WNBA-Draft von den „Los Angeles Sparks“ ausgewählt. Mit diesem Team feierte sie 2016 ihren größten sportlichen Triumph: Meistertitel und gleichzeitig die Auszeichnung zur wertvollsten Spielerin der Finalserie.
In ihrer Karriere prägte sie das Spiel mit Spielintelligenz, Führungskraft und beeindruckender Athletik. 2024 beendete sie ihre aktive Laufbahn und glänzt seither als Analystin und Kommentatorin bei TNT Sports.
