Julie Ertz – Spielmacherin mit Kampfgeist und Herz
Julie Ertz war das Rückgrat des US-Frauenfußballs – kraftvoll, strategisch und unverzichtbar. Schon während ihres Studiums fiel sie durch ihr Talent auf und wurde früh ins Nachwuchsteam berufen. Ihre Profikarriere begann 2014 bei den „Chicago Red Stars“, wo sie zur festen Größe wurde. Ursprünglich als Verteidigerin gestartet, übernahm sie später zentrale Rollen im Mittelfeld und lenkte das Spiel mit Übersicht und Einsatz.
Im Nationalteam schrieb sie Geschichte: Mit zwei WM-Titeln 2015 und 2019 prägte sie eine goldene Ära. Auch privat sorgt sie für Schlagzeilen – gemeinsam mit Ehemann und NFL-Star Zach Ertz bildet sie ein echtes Power-Duo. Julie bleibt ein Symbol für Leidenschaft, Teamgeist und Führungsstärke.
