La popular personalidad de la televisión, Bob Barker, comenzó en la radio entreteniendo a los oyentes con un contenido atractivo y encantador. En 1956, empezó a presentar programas de juegos (Verdad o Consecuencias), e incluso concursos de belleza (Miss Universo, Miss EE.UU.) en ocasiones. A diferencia de muchas estrellas de hoy en día, no necesitó un abogado de divorcio ya que se casó con su novia de la secundaria y siguen siendo felices juntos. En 2007 Barker le entregó el manto a Drew Carey cuando se retiró de su papel de anfitrión en The Price Is Right. Barker ha recaudado 70 millones de dólares de su carrera como presentador y conductor de televisión.
