Red Carpet Roulette: Which Celebs Slayed and Which Ones Failed?
Katy Perry’s Met Gala Glow Up
Katy Perry ditched her usual pop princess attire for a whole new look at the 2017 Met Gala. This was a Katy Perry we hadn’t seen before—less “Roar” and more runway-ready. Teaming up with fashion house Maison Margiela, Katy turned heads in a head-to-toe red ensemble.
The dress flowed dramatically into a train, but the real eye-catcher was the massive, avant-garde headpiece. Think less “California Gurls” and more blooming flower sculpture meets fire crown. This wasn’t just a dress; it was a fashion statement. As a co-host, she wasn’t just there to sprinkle popstar magic, she was there to play the fashion game, and she absolutely slayed it.
