Pannen hinter den Schlossmauern: Auch bei Disney läuft nicht immer alles glatt!
Die Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
Es gibt zwar in Disney weniger Holzachterbahnen als moderne Fahrgeschäfte aus Stahl, doch bieten sie garantierten und unvergesslichen Nervenkitzel. Am bekanntesten ist wohl die “Big Thunder Mountain Railroad”, die 1979 in Disneyland eröffnet wurde, gefolgt von Versionen in anderen Disney-Parks. Die Fahrt ist für ihr Wild-West-Bergbau-Thema und ihre aufregenden Abfahrten und Kurven bekannt.
Vor diesem Fahrgeschäft gab es das “Mine Train Through Nature’s Wonderland”, das von 1960 bis 1977 verkehrte. Dennoch ist es lustig zu sehen, wie ein Clown, der normalerweise der Inbegriff von Spaß und Lachen ist, ausgesprochen verärgert und unbeeindruckt aussieht auf einem Fahrgeschäft, das normalerweise viel Spaß bereitet, wie man an den anderen Fahrgästen sehen kann.
