Alice aus “Alice im Wunderland” ist zwar keine Disney-Prinzessin, aber in puncto Beliebtheit kann sie sich auf jeden Fall behaupten. Ihre Figur wurde 1865 vom britischen Autor Lewis Carroll geschaffen. Die Disney-Adaption von 1951 erweckte ihre surrealen Abenteuer mit ihrer einzigartigen Mischung aus Laune und Eigentümlichkeit zum Leben.
Ein faszinierendes Detail des Films von 1951 ist die Art und Weise, wie er ursprünglich aufgenommen wurde. Im Gegensatz zu vielen Disney-Klassikern war “Alice im Wunderland” kein sofortiger Erfolg. Erst im Laufe der Zeit erlangte er seinen Status und wurde aufgrund seines künstlerischen Stils, der seiner Zeit weit voraus war, und seiner fantasievollen Erzählweise zum Kult-Favoriten.
