Wenn Disney-Figuren wie Mickey Mouse eine Pause machen wollen, begeben sie sich an einen Ort, den die Parkbesucher nicht sehen können, denn der ganze Park ist von einem weiten und unterirdischen System durchzogen. Es ist wie eine versteckte Stadt, die mit Gehwegen, Servicebereichen und sogar einer Cafeteria ausgestattet ist!
Hier können Schauspieler entspannen, etwas essen und sich von der Hitze Floridas erholen, besonders wenn sie in Ganzkörperkostümen arbeiten. Dieses System war schon Teil von Walt Disneys ursprünglicher Vision für das “Magic Kingdom”. Er wollte die betrieblichen Aspekte des Parks vor den Gästen verbergen, um die Magie und Illusion des Parkerlebnisses zu bewahren.
