Acquired by Tom and his wife Eileen, the house overlooks a medieval tower house that they were instrumental in preserving.
The property features half-timbered construction and is connected to English Civil War history, having been the site of a notable siege. Tom spearheaded the efforts to preserve the nearby tower house, which was recognized with a Heritage Lottery grant exceeding £1 million.
