Conjoined twins face serious medical risks. Most do not live past infancy, and many who survive deal with lifelong health problems. Doctors often reminded the family about these dangers, as breathing issues, heart strain, and spinal complications were all possible concerns.
Still, the sisters grew stronger each year. Their parents focused on building an everyday life, while doctors kept a careful watch. Against the odds, they didn’t just survive—they became healthy and active. The risk never disappeared, but it didn’t stop Abby and Brittany. Their story showed that statistics can’t always predict outcomes when determination, medical care, and family support come together.
