En muchas ocasiones se ha considerado a esta celebridad como una de las últimas vedettes argentinas del siglo pasado. Su trayectoria incluye trabajo como actriz en televisión, cine y teatro. De hecho, su fama ha aumentado de manera considerable durante la década de los 80 en varias apariciones cinematográficas.
En muchas ocasiones, tuvo que internarse en una clínica de rehabilitación debido a sus grandes problemas de adicciones. Entre las últimas veces, ella se internó en el 2014 por este tipo de problemas. Hoy en día, se la ve mucho más tranquila a sus 73 años a pesar de los flagelos que se puede notar en su rostro.
