Otra de las celebridades que participaron en la exitosa serie Beverly Hills 90210 fue Shannen. De hecho desde muy pequeña logró un alto nivel de fama y éxito gracias a esta serie y a Embrujadas. De todas maneras su carrera artística sufrió algunos vaivenes debido a su personalidad conflictiva y a muchos rumores relacionados a ello.
Más allá de eso sus problemas de personalidad ya no eran importantes cuando en 2015 enfrentó un cáncer de mama. Este problema logró superarse debido a un conjunto de tratamientos rigurosos que logró cumplir. Las huellas de esta enfermedad todavía pueden notarse en el aspecto actual de esta celebridad.
