Luego consiguió saltar a la fama gracias a la película Abismo.
De todas maneras este actor se vio en un mar de problemas y adicción a las drogas luego de algunos éxitos más. Incluso lo arrestaron por conducir bajo los efectos del alcohol en el año 2002. Su adicción parece estar controlada luego de algunos años en rehabilitación. También ha vuelto al mundo de la actuación a pesar de su aspecto desalineado.
