Alex de la Iglesia es un afamado director de cine español que se ha hecho conocido a nivel mundial por su estilo propio al momento de construir historias, además de su marcada estética donde se combina lo gore con lo cotidiano español. Sus inicios artísticos se remontan a los años donde ejercía como historietista, siendo este el germen que pudo llevar años más tarde al cine cuando comenzó a dirigir películas.
Su primer gran éxito fue La noche de la Bestia de 1995 donde se consolidó como director, siendo actualmente uno de los realizadores más importantes de la península ibérica. Su fortuna se estima en 1,1 millones de dólares.
