El actor estadounidense Richard Dean Anderson, conocido mundialmente por su trabajo actoral protagónico en la serie MacGyver, lleva bastante años sin trabajar, viviendo exclusivamente de su fortuna. Este peculio lo amasó en la década de los ochenta, cuando su personaje era la estrella favorita a lo largo del globo, durante las siete temporadas que alcanzó la serie.
Pese a que no tuvo mayores éxitos televisivos, compró su propia productora, la cuál está avaluada en 12 millones de dólares. Si a esto se le suma las propiedades que tiene en Vancouver y su natal Minessota, la cifra aumenta a 25 millones de dólares.
