J.K. Rowling: Writer – $1 Billion
J.K Rowling is best known for her Harry Potter fantasy book series, which have sold over 500 million copies around the world. Her wonderful work became the world’s best-selling book series in history. Her writings were turned into films and the script that was used had to be approved by her before they started filming. With an estimated wealth of $1 billion, Rowling surely goes down as one of the best authors out there. In 2018, she released another book titled Lethal White where she used her other pen name, Robert Galbraith.
