They ingeniously arranged themselves to appear as a headless man lying on the shore, desperately clutching his own head.

They achieved this as one friend lay buried in the sand, his body hidden, leaving only his head visible, while the other took the opposite approach, burying his head beneath the surface and leaving his body exposed.
