Il padre di Manolo è Joe Gonzalez, il primo amore del liceo di Sofia! Si sono sposati quando avevano solo 18 anni, ma il loro matrimonio è durato solo due anni. Manolo ha iniziato la sua carriera come modello e attore nel corso degli anni. Il suo ruolo più recente è nel film Vandal del 2019.
