Elton John es considerado como parte de la lista de cantantes con más ventas de la historia. Sus ventas de discos se estiman en más de 300 millones hasta ahora. John ha permanecido activo durante décadas y por eso su cuenta bancaria ha seguido creciendo tremendamente a lo largo de los años. John ya planea dejar de hacer giras ahora que tiene 80 años. Su gira de despedida comenzó en 2018 y durará hasta diciembre de 2020.
Esto definitivamente significa que su actual fortuna de 500 millones de dólares seguirá creciendo. John tiene previsto publicar una autobiografía en octubre de 2019.
