Aunque Anne Hegerty es conocida por su inteligencia y carácter, definitivamente no es conocida como alguien que adelgaza. Sin embargo, después de aparentemente pasar tres semanas en una selva, sólo comiendo arroz y frijoles, se las arregló para perder unas 14 libras.
Hegerty ha estado ocupada apareciendo en Britain’s Brightest Family desde 2018 y en The Chase Australia desde 2015. Mostró su físico más delgado durante los Premios Nacionales de Cine, después de haber perdido todo ese peso en marzo de 2019.
