Lester Holt and Carol Hagen – Together Since 1980
Lester Holt, the esteemed anchor of “NBC Nightly News,” met Carol Hagen in 1980 when she was a flight attendant and he was a student at California State University, Sacramento. Their paths crossed during a flight, leading to a lifelong partnership. The couple married in 1982 and have two sons: Stefan, who followed in his father’s footsteps as a journalist, and Cameron, who pursued a career in finance.
Throughout Lester’s demanding career, Carol, now a successful real estate agent, has been a steadfast supporter, often managing family relocations to accommodate his job. The couple resides in Manhattan with their labradoodle, Lucy, and enjoys spending time with their three grandsons.
