Jane Hill and Sara Shepherd – Together Since 2008
Jane Hill, known for her role as a BBC news anchor, met BBC camera operator Sara Shepherd in the early 2000s while on the job. Their connection, rooted in shared experiences, soon grew beyond the workplace, and by 2008, they officially began dating. In 2011, Jane shared their engagement on Twitter, giving fans a glimpse into their joy.
The couple celebrated a civil partnership in 2013, building a cozy life together in North London with their dog, Mavis. When Jane faced a breast cancer diagnosis in 2018, she opted for a mastectomy without reconstruction, with Sara by her side every step, reinforcing their enduring partnership.
