LGBTQ and Straight Celebrity Couples Who Prove True Love Isn’t Dead!
Delta Burke and Gerald McRaney – Together Since 1989
Delta Burke, the unforgettable Suzanne Sugarbaker from “Designing Women,” and Gerald McRaney, the tough-as-nails star of “Simon & Simon,” have kept their love strong since 1989. They first crossed paths when she guest-starred on his show in 1987, sparking an immediate connection.
In true romantic fashion, Gerald didn’t waste time—he proposed on their second date! The two tied the knot in May 1989, blending Hollywood glam with deep Southern charm. Though they share no children, his children from previous marriages are part of their extended family. Through Delta’s ups and downs, he has stood by her, proving that these two are truly a Hollywood duo worth rooting for.
