When rock ‘n’ roll royalty Keith Richards met supermodel Patti Hansen at Studio 54 in 1979, he was instantly smitten. Celebrating her 23rd birthday that night, she left such an impression that he decided she was his rock muse. After a few years of dating, they exchanged vows in 1983, making it extra special by marrying on his 40th birthday.
The couple welcomed two daughters, Theodora and Alexandra, in the mid-1980s. As of 2023, Keith and Patti have rocked through 40 years of marriage—something the legendary guitarist has said brings him more pride than his music and smashes the idea that rockstars can’t keep stable relationships.
