Karine est la présentatrice de l’émission « L’amour est dans le pré », et comme dans son émission, elle préfère avoir un style de vie simpliste. Cela se voit par la voiture qu’elle conduit : une Mini Cooper blanche avec un toit tout noir. Cette voiture est petite, ce qui est très pratique en milieu urbain.
Elle était en couple avec le footballeur français Lilian Thuram, mais ils ont dû se séparer pour des problèmes de couples, entres autres un certain nombre de rapport avec violences conjugales.
