Sophia Loren a commencé sa carrière très jeune. C’est depuis les années 1950 que l’actrice est à l’affiche des films tels que Two Women, Wedding Italian Style ou encore Yesterday et Today and Tomorrow ; certains d’entre eux lui ont même valu d’être oscarisée ! Cela fait maintenant quelques années que l’actrice n’apparaît plus à l’écran. La raison de ce retrait ? Certainement pas son physique sublime et ce malgré ses 80 ans, mais sa volonté de s’éloigner de l’univers du cinéma auquel elle a pourtant appartenu de très nombreuses années.
