Svante Thunberg è il padre della ormai arcinota Greta Thunberg, il cui impegno nella difesa dell’ambiente è di dominio internazionale. I “Fridays for Futures” sono l’esempio lampante della lotta pacifica che Greta e i suoi sostenitori intraprendono per la conservazione dell’ambiente, attraverso scioperi di massa organizzati.
