Si è affermato da solo senza far leva sul nome del padre, diventando un presentatore radiofonico e ha anche un discreto successo come cantante. Ad oggi ha una trasmissione tutta sua su Radio105, che condivide con Nadia Venturini, sua compagna di vita e sua collega nella trasmissione.
