Splash Mountain a autrefois gagné le surnom infâme de Flash Mountain parce que certains visiteurs y exposent plus que leurs sourires à la caméra. Cette tendance, qui impliquait que certains visiteurs montrent leurs parties intimes aux caméras pendant la prise de vue photo de l’attraction, a créé une situation délicate pour Disney. Pour remédier à cela, Disney a instauré un processus de sélection.
Désormais, chaque photo est examinée avant d’être affichée ou mise en vente. Si une photo est jugée inappropriée, elle n’est tout simplement pas montrée, garantissant ainsi que l’atmosphère familiale du parc est préservée. Ce processus de sélection signifie également que le personnel peut retenir les photos qui ne répondent pas aux normes de décence de Disney.
