Bill Gates gilt als einer der Vorreiter der Technik, und sich eine Zeit lang zum reichsten Menschen der Welt gemausert. Mittlerweile ist er immerhin noch in den Top 5 Vertreten. Tatsächlich hat er das Anwesen auf „Xanadu 2.0“ getauft, welches eine Anspielung auf einen Charakter in „Citizien Kane“ ist. Neben beheizten Fußböden und Lichter die auf Klatsch-Rhythmen reagieren, hat er alles Mögliche an Elektronik in seinem Haus integriert. Jedoch hat er das Anwesen dennoch geschickt mit der Natur verbunden.
