Toen Catherine Bell dit grijze en witte ouderwetse huis zag, wist ze onmiddellijk dat ze het moest hebben wegens de verborgen potentie om er modern uit te zien met toch nog die traditionele architectuur als basis. De Army Wives ster veranderde eerst de voordeur van glas-in-lood naar een drie-panel deur, toen ging ze verder met de woonkamer, waar ze vier-panel terrasdeuren in zette om de levensruimte te vergroten voor haar gezin.
Één voor één heeft Bell zo elke kamer in het huis prachtig gerenoveerd zonder de originele architectuur te verstoren. Ze heeft het super gedaan, want het huis ziet er nu alleen maar huiselijker en uitnodigender uit dan voorheen!
