Before breathing his last in 2017, Gregg Allman lived in the lap of nature at the riverside retreat near Richmond Hill in Georgia. Even since he made the place his home in 1999, he had loved returning to rest between hectic schedules as a famous musician.
The ‘Midnight Rider’ songwriter enjoyed spending quality time with his sixth wife, Stacey, throughout the 2000s. The place gave Gregg a sense of peace he often sought during his career. A Tudor-style home was custom built on the 4.5-acre waterfront property, the highlight of the haven being the extension of a long wooden pier from the house from where he could watch the dolphins leap.
