Martin Scorsese – New York
The famed director Martin Scorsese was raised in New York’s neighborhood. Now he lives in a 19th-century townhouse. He loves this place and the Upper East Side neighborhood and enjoys its small-town feel. There is an avenue on the corner and sometimes he can hear a horse and carriage at night. He choose this place to built his house because he wanted to feel like being in the old NY. He has tried living in high-rise apartments and lofts but never liked the downtown neighborhoods that reminded him of the streets where he spent his childhood. We hope living here also helps Martin’s creativity and he continues creating cinematic masterpieces.
