Julie Goodyear won our hearts with that inviting smile and relatable charm from the very first moment we landed our eyes on her in Coronation Street. Although Goodyear then quit her regular spot on the series in ’95, she remained active in showbiz well into 2006 before hanging her hat up for good.
The Brit TV icon is on the cusp of 80 now, and although you’ll find no age-defying approach to youthful looks in Goodyear’s repertoire, the venerated performer can still very much command any room she walks into, a testament to her genuine star power. You’ll always be timeless to us, Julie!
