Hollywood Golden Age Stars Who Are Still With US
Linda Henning – Age 74
Linda Henning was raised by a famous father in the form of seasoned TV producer and writer Paul Henning together with his wife, Ruth. Before going into acting, Linda was a dancer who had an uncredited appearance in 1963’s Bye Bye Birdie. This paved the way for her to land the role of Betty Jo in Petticoat Junction. In 1968, a year after her character’s onscreen wedding to Mike Minor’s role in the show, the pair actually got hitched in real life. Henning went on to become the only cast member to star in the 1963 hit for the whole duration of its seven-year run.
