Pierre Cardin is a well-known fashion label, and he is sitting with an $800-million wealth to speak for his popularity. Cardin’s world is a mixture of avant-garde artist and protean beliefs, and his collections are a clear representation of his desire for uniqueness and his appetite for things different from the norm. He is known for experimenting with everything – from costumes to tableware, furnishings to accessories. Since 1950, Cardin has run his own style house and he invented the bubble outfit. In 2009, Cardin became the Goodwill Ambassador for the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).
