Hollywood Golden Age Stars Who Are Still With US
Katherine Helmond – Age 89
Katherine Helmond had her on-stage breakthrough in the ‘70s as she won a Tony nomination for Broadway’s The Great God Brown. Helmond then proceeded to refine her acting talents through the film, Family Plot, and several other TV shows. The most notable of which is her role as Jessica Tate in ABC‘s comedy sitcom, Soap, for which a Golden Globe and four Emmy Award nominations followed. Katherine’s life as an actress was a fruitful one until she retired in 2008. Helmond had never experienced giving birth as she and her husband, David Christian, have no children.
