Hollywood Golden Age Stars Who Are Still With US
Jane Powell – Age 90
Jane Powell rose to fame by appearing in many musicals in the ’40s. She was a contract player from the same company as Arlene Dahl—Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer pictures. Her notable roles include the ones in A Date with Judy, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, and Hit the Deck. By the ’50s, she rarely appeared in movies and worked mainly in theatre. Powell appeared in productions alongside some of the greatest legends including Fred Astaire and Elizabeth Taylor. After four divorces, Jane married former child star Dickie Moore and remained with him until his death in 2015.
