Arlene Dahl – Age 93

Arlene Dahl rose to stardom when she signed a contract with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. She landed the lead role in 1948’s The Bride Goes Wild and went on to appear in a number of movies in the next few years as a lead actress. By the ’70s, Arlene became a director of a beauty products line with $750K in annual earnings. She later faced some financial difficulties and even declared bankruptcy in 1981. But we have no doubt that she eventually recovered since she wrote many books on beauty and astrology after that.

 

Sean Connery – Age 90

Sir Thomas Sean Connery may be in retirement, but he sure isn’t forgotten – especially since he was the first and the original James Bond. His expert acting skills are unforgettable, and he’s earned a number of prestigious awards for his on-screen skills – including of course an Academy Award. His list of credits includes Indiana Jones, The Avengers, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, and Sir Bill. He may still be kicking himself over turning down the role of Gandalf in The Lord of the Rings, but we remember all the good times, Sean!
