Fox 59’s Jennifer Ketchmark was in the middle of delivering a live weather forecast in 2014 when an unexpected visitor buzzed onto the scene. Just after the anchors had discussed bees, one flew straight onto the camera lens, becoming magnified as if it were a giant one and making Jennifer jump back with a startled scream.
Her reaction was priceless, a mix of genuine fear and on-air surprise that left viewers laughing. The anchors couldn’t have planned it better if they tried, adding to the coincidence of their earlier bee chat. Jennifer quickly recovered, but the moment made for unforgettable television, where even forecasters get a little buzzed.
